The short version: this site is written for kids, but it only ever collects a grown-up's email address. It never asks a child for personal information, and there is no account to create.
Young Founder is a program from Founder's Best Friend. This policy covers youngfounder.education and the things you can sign up for on it.
The fit quiz is written for a young person to read and answer. It asks about what kind of work sounds fun, roughly what age band the founder is in, and how much money is available to start. None of those answers identify anybody.
At the end, the quiz asks for one email address, and it asks for a parent's. That is deliberate. A child is never asked for their name, their address, their phone number, their photograph, or their own email. There is no account, no login, and no profile.
If a child submits an email address anyway, or if a parent believes their child has given information without permission, write to us and it will be deleted. No questions, no forms to fill in.
An email address, when somebody chooses to give one: on the quiz, on a guide download, or on the kit waitlist. Alongside it, the quiz result itself, meaning the founder type, the age band, the budget range, and which business ideas came out as a match. That result is what makes the follow-up emails useful rather than generic.
Standard web analytics: which pages were visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device it was on. That is aggregate information and it is not used to identify anybody.
Sending the thing that was asked for, sending a short series of emails about helping a young person start a business, and letting people know when the kit is available. That is the whole list.
Email addresses are never sold, rented, or traded. Every email has an unsubscribe link, it works immediately, and unsubscribing removes the address.
The starter guides link to gear on Amazon, and some of those are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Clicking one costs nothing extra, and Amazon will handle that visit under its own privacy policy rather than this one.
Every gear list also says what to skip and what to borrow, because the aim is a young person spending as little as possible before they have made their first sale.
This site runs on Webflow. Email is handled by an email service provider. Payments, when the kit is for sale, will be handled by a payment processor that takes card details directly, meaning card numbers never touch this site. Each of those companies has its own privacy policy.
Anybody can ask what is held about them, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Parents can do the same on behalf of a child. Write to the address below and it gets done.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date below changes with it.
